As Darvo walked into the glaring sunset on the western horizon ahead of him, he wondered to himself about the Yoga studio he passed by minutes ago. There were so many beautiful women in there doing flexible things that he knew that his own body was not capable of.

Darvo had actually passed by that same Yoga studio almost every day for the past six months when he took up a job as a salesman at the screen door factory next door.

Everytime he walked by, on his way home, he made a point to look inside the window of the studio to see what kind of position that the ladies were intertwined into. Many times he had hoped that the Yoga instructor would notice him walking by and gesture for him to join the class, so he could bend in those ways.

The room looked warm, inviting, a little sweaty. For Darvo, that room looked much better than where he was going. Darvo was going to the pancake house on the south side of town, actually. It is pretty much a shithole with a bunch of shitty yellow lighting, bad food and bad friends. He felt cheated that this 'Pig and Pancake' cafeteria was his Yoga studio. He felt cheated and weak at every fiber of his person. As he opened his double decker breifcase to take out screen door samples, it made him angry.

Darvo would never show his anger to his clients, who he would meet regularly at the 'Pig ad Pancake.' He would never let his disappointed in life be shown as he thumbed through the various metallic samples of screen with his business associate.

"Gentlemen, what I have here today is the Zeppo 1700 mesh grade chromed aluminum screening." He continued trying to sell, "As our number one client, you know that we have constantly brought forth the greatest advances in aluminum screening, but I can say with confidence that this is the best screening material i have ever seen move through our factory."

Darvo hated clients. Every moment with them was painful for him. Every screen sample that he drug out of his 'greif case' was a horrible reminder that he could be, at this moment, bending in the Yoga room behind a 20 year-old holding the downward dog pose.

"Hmm, fascinating." The decision maker said. "But, does it have the same durability as the Zeppo 1200?"

You sir, are a dumbshit, Darvo thought. "Why of course. It is the 1700 model! We've taken all he great features of the 1200 and wrapped it with a weave of carbon fiber." Darvo had no idea what he just said. He had no idea if it was right or wrong. He thought, shouldn't everyone know that when it comes to technology, the higher number the better it is? 2 is better than 1 and of course the 1700 should be better than the 1200. Why are they asking these questions, Darvo wondered.

Hah! I laugh somewhat despairingly as this is a perfect encapsulation of a salesperson's life.
