When he went to the pet store Mark Anderson thought it was going to be just another day. He was going to pick out the goldfish for his nephew's birthday and head on his way. Boy was he ever wrong.

It started as soon as he walked in, the cashier was giving him a very funny look that Mark couldn't exactly place. The pets were even weirder. They all looked as though they'd been through hell and back, but Mark, startled as he was, kept looking for that goldfish. If only he'd left then.

He got to the aquarium section but all he could see were dead fish. Not a single one of the fish in the tank was alive, save one. One solitary fish swam alone in the water, the corpses of his comrades floating around him like an underwater cemetery.

He took a picture. That was his mistake. All for the purposes of art, he took that picture. Now his only solace is his music, he plays and plays and plays. That's all he does day in and day out. And the reason is this. When he developped the picture of the fish he realized one thing.

The fish was staring right back at him. And through the picture he said "Hello Mark."
