He ran into the room, his heart pounding and his clothes soaking wet. "How could you do this to me?" He screamed at Kelly who stood facing him with her arms crossed over her chest and wet red dress clinging to her body.
"Mark, you had a red carpet at your prom after party. DO you NOT think that thats getting a little out of hand?" Kelly responded.
"You don't know the pressure to stay in the public eye. You don't know what its been like for me for the past 6 months. I tried to stay like a normal teenager but i can't. Not with my career i can't." He stared at her as tears filled his eyes.
"Your 18. You don't need a career right now, don't you get that?" She walked up to him and put her hand on his arm, "I fell in love with you when we were both 16. And up until 3 months ago i was prepared to go to college with a boyfriend despite what everyone said. But you've changed Mark. You're a completely different person now and I'm not sure we're a good fit anymore." She looked down at the ground and whispered. "I used to love you. But now i don't really know."
"Kelly... Kelly please I'll make time for you. We can still do this, i can provide for you!"
"I don't need someone to provide for me Mark. I have parents. I need someone who can let me know that they love me. And you can't do that anymore. I'm sorry."
Kelly turned and walked out of the living room and Mark heard the front door to his house slam shut.
