I stood on the old wooden bed I always slept in. There was always a window up high and I would always look up to it at noon and see the clock chime. There were so much out there waiting for me to learn. I wanted to go out there, explore the world, make friends. But I couldn't, because I can’t. Where I am from is a powerful city, Nastavbriki. This city, we have to protect it with our lives so no rebels come. But my anonymous parents dropped me to an orphanage when I was very young because I didn’t have any powers. They were scared that I would make a joke of them so they simply left me on the steps and waiting for the matrons to take me in.
Everyone had powers in Nastavbriki. But only me. All their jobs were to protect our city once they were 18 years old. But I couldn't. I had to stay in the orphanage for the rest of my life because I am useless. My best friend, Aeklandr goes to the orphanage with me. We have been best friends since. But he was brave, he had powers and he had friends. I was opposite, having no friends except for Aeklandr, being so skinny and I was coward. But now, I believe Aeklandr isn’t even my friend now. He started to ignore me and I feel so alone.
As the clock chimed noon, birds flew from the bell tower and people sang and dance. I just wish I could join them. Life was unfair here, but I have to deal with it. When the clock finished chiming and everyone went back to their normal job -no more singing and dancing-I sat down on my bed, every time I moved a pinky the bed creaked and dirty mouses covered in a thick layer of ashes ran from under my bed. My bed was old and cracked. Everyone had better beds than me, better food and better clothes. Tears fell from my eyes, I wished someone in this world had loved me and had taken care of me. Most of all, I wished I had a family. The other kids started to come up but I just ignored them like I always do but sometimes I feel a pain of jealousy that they all have good friends.
The feeling didn’t last long until three large, frightening and muscular mens -heavily armed with handgun- came thudding up the stairs into our main bedroom of where all the foster kids sleep. Every loud thump made my heartbeat faster. Behind the large mens with two matrons. Nikitia and Isia. “That's her, over there,” one of the matrons pointing her long scaly fingers at me, “Get her out of here. Now. The skinny one, with blond hair.”
I was confused, what was happening. Did someone from our orphanage do something wrong? I finally realised the two matrons were pointing at me. I was the one who had done something wrong -but I didn’t. Two rough hands grabbed me hand, “Young ledi come with me.”
“Why” I answered bluntly. I didn’t want random people carrying handguns taking me somewhere I don’t even know. I got no response and they just snached me. Even though I don’t have any powers and the armed men does, I still didn’t want random people laying a finger on me without my permission.
“Don’t you dare lay a finger on me” I mocked at them giving them my most alarming look. Still ignoring my vicious comments then blinded my mouth. I couldn't speak. I couldn't scream. I kicked and thrash my legs but no matter how much effort I put in from protecting myself, I couldn't resist. They were too strong. In between heavy breaths I panted “Where are you taking me.”
“Somewhere far where no-one knows,” one grunted.
They are taking me away… far away where no-one knows. I knew I couldn't fight them but If I leave, I would never see Aeklandr again. When the two guards grabbed me and leading me to the stairs I could feel all the other kids staring at me. Some sniggered and some whispered what was going on. When I passed Aeklandr, I whispered ‘goodbye’ hoping he would hear. Aeklandr just stared at me blankly and his face fully confused showing affection I would never see him again. Then he just turned away, ignoring my unceasing stares. Was I staring in space or not. Aeklandr thought I was invisible. Somewhat I was glad I am leaving the orphanage for good but on the other hand, I did not know where I was going and I was terrified of what was going to happen next. Would me life end here or would it get better?
A/N This is my first OUAT book so pleaseee it might not be that good! Peter Pan is coming in the next two chapters…

I did not know where I was going and I was terrified of what was going to happen next. Would me life end here or would it get better?

Time was flying by. The muscular men had pulled me along to a gigantic yet glorious ship. One of the men told me to wait here while they get the other children. There were other children? My mind turned upside down. Everyone knew it was me and only me who didn’t have powers and I was the only one who had to be taken away in a mysterious ship but I wasn't. Other children are coming as well. Maybe they didn’t have powers as well. This as my first time coming out of that stinky orphanage. I remembered Aeklandr. He was just like the other kids. Despising people who are different to you. I thought he was my friend. But it turns out, he isn’t.
Starting to ignore my past I smelt the piquant sense of fresh apples parchment and cologne [Hehe, Draco Malfoy]I brushed some leaves of my shoulder. I looked up dreamly. It was a Linden tree, one of my favourites because it was the very first tree I had learnt because Aeklandr taught me as was right opposite of my window. I tried no to think about Aeklandr so I keep staring at the Linden tree regularly. The beautiful lime colours made me think about the rangy mattress I slept in. But my thoughts were disrupted by heavy footsteps coming my way. It was the other kids. I caught a glimpse of some of their faces as they strolled towards my direction and their hands behind my back.. One girl had short cropped raven hair. She was covered in ashes and another boy had long fingermarks on his right side of his face. I knew he had been beaten. -bad The person who caught my eye the most was another boy. Around my age. He was tall and had distinctive broad shoulders unlike me. The boy’s hair was a honey blond colour and had piercing blue eyes that shine at night. Unfortunately he wasn't wearing a shirt so I could see his whole body. I couldn't help my eyes and trailed it to his abs. Gosh, he was a six pack. He caught me staring and smirked. But I didn’t know why the boy was getting taken away. He looked so handsome any girl would be on their knees by now begging him to live with them.
Out of a sudden a rough pull, pulled me onto the ship and I instantly forget about the boy. As I got on ignoring all the loud noises around me and I sat at the far corner not bothered listening to the captain’s rules. Maybe the other kids might think me as a friend? After the noises died down and everyone just sat in a bunches of groups - i presume everyone has friends already- I knew it, It was the same before. But I couldn't make the same mistake again. Even if they knew me, I am still making some friends.
“Hey,” Said a voice that distracted me out of my thoughts and a I didn’t recognize. I looked up and I was still for a whole minute. I couldn't say or think a single word. My mind became paralyzed. The voice I didn’t quite recognise was the handsome boy I saw before docking the ship. Still lost for words, he sat next to me.
“You seem quite lost, anything wrong?” When he speaks it makes him look more handsome. I thought why am I falling for a boy? All my life people had hated me so there is no way the handsome boy would like me. He might just as well are playing a stupid prank on me.
“Just… go away,” That was all I could say.
Unexpectedly he was a little hurt. “I… just wanted to sit with you because you are alone… that's all,”
I was caught by his reaction. “So you didn’t come and tease me… or prank me”
“Why would I? It's not like we know each other.” He laughed.
Deciding to switch the topic because it might turn awkward soon I asked him “Do you know where we are going?”
“Well… it is said that, this ship would go to a mysterious place but no one knows where. “ He voice seemed terrified. Why would a handsome boy be terrified?
I trembled. My life would end soon. I asked softly, making sure no one would hear our conversation, “Do you know who I am?”
“Not that I know of. Why? Are you famous of some sort?” He smirked. Gosh I hate it when that boy smirks. It brings up his ignorants even though I don’t even know him.
“I am not,” Terrified that he might tease me, I knew there were no going back. “I am quite the opposite. You know the only girl in Nastavbriki that doesn't have any powers?”
“No.”
I was shocked. “Surely everyone knows me by my powerless self and my ugliness. Are you sure you have never heard of me?”
“No,” He whispered giving me a slight tingle in the ear. “And I don’t believe you are ugly. You stand out -in a good way”
Making sure that conversation couldn't get more awkward I asked, “Umm… Since I told you some off my past life, do you mind tell me yours?”
“It's complicated.” I was more shocked this time. This is my first time out of the orphanage I didn’t realise boys would be so complicated. “I came from a wealthy family but my father is drunk man and my step-mother hates me. After my mother died, my step-mother and my father goes out every night and comes back around six in the morning. So today I quickly changing my look and… dumped my clothes on the ground and putted some dirt on my face so I would blend in because I saw kids with their hands tied behind their back and I thought, even though that might be a guresome experience, I needed to leave. I told one of the men they forgot about me and… that's how I got here.. Also, I am not lying. I have never heard of you before because its my first time out of my house.” He laughed at the end.
I was shocked and sad at the same time. “I’m sorry about that.”
“Its fine and I am already on this ship so I have to go through this danger.”
My guts urged me to tell him something I deeply regret. “I came from an orphanage and me to, I have never been outside before because people laughed at me for a stupid reason. I was powerless.”
The handsome boy smiled and held out his hand, “I’m Connor and it's time for me to teach you some basics.”
“You can’t teach me magic. You can’t teach people. It is your soul that controls you and make you.” I snapped. “... Sorry.” I whispered after. How could I say that in front of Connor? The most handsome boy in the world.
“It’s not your soul. It’s you believe. Do you believe in yourself, that you can possess in magic one day … “
Slightly embarrassed, I quickly said, “Monica.”
He continued, “Do you believe that you can do it, Monica?” He said the last words so tender but we were both quickly disrupted when two rough hands yanked us up and gave us something. “Eat.” One of the men ordered us. It was gruel. The same thing I eat every single day at the orphanage. I heard Connor grunt. I didn’t even have the time to tell him how handsome I thought he was. Then I thought, Don’t make a fool of yourself. You don’t even know this society well yet.
After we had our supper, Connor and I started talking again. He was a friend. My only true friend. We talked mainly about our past life and our dreams. He held my hand tightly. I could feel his warmth against my skin and I liked it. I desperately needed to tell him I liked him because I couldn't stand it anymore. I couldn't hide my feelings.
Out of nowhere the ship started shaking. Forward and backwards. Who knew going on a ship would be so bad?
What was happening. Water started to rise as the boat violently shook leaving me swaying side to side. There were lightning strikes passengers started to fall. Overboard. This was a heavy storm. The first storm I’d ever see and it's likely to be my last. The heavy waters started to create a whirlpool. Thankfully, Connor held me tight. As he wrapped his hands around me, I violently hugged him back. My head fell onto his broad shoulders. I could feel his heart beating fast and his warm breath against my skin. How is his so warm when he is not wearing any shirt? Maybe he is using his powers to keep him warm. Everyone was screaming and crying. All the kids smaller than me cuddled on each other. The boat was rocking faster. I realized I am not going to make it. I was right. Soon I lost the grip of Connor and I fell. Off the ship and into the violent seas of the whirlpool. It felt like the sea was inviting me to it. A pain blasted through me. I screamed. To Connor and for help. But it was no use. I am dying.
A/N- Peter Pan is next chapter, enjoy! 😏 ||Comment below if you ship Connor & Monica [C.C- Cute couple. LOL]||😍

~~
As I slowly fluttered my eyes open, I quickly touched my nose to my hair and my body. I was alive.
“Connor?” I called out to him softly. There were no response. I stared at my surroundings slowly still very dizzy. I was not on a ship with violent seas below and gusting winds swaying. If forgot what had happened before. I only remembered I fell of the the ship and I lost my grip to Connor.
“Connor?” I called a bit loudly. I knew this was a dumb idea. Sitting down on a beach and calling out randomly so I decided to find him. As I looked behind, I saw that it looked liked a forest. The trees were tall and vines crawled all over the place. It did look frightening to go in but I decided to ‘do it for Connor’. I walked into the unknown place. I looked around my surroundings just in case if Connor had tried to prank me but it was dead silent. Look for a shirtless handsome boy. I mumbled between heavy breaths reminding me that this was for Connor —my first true friend. I kept walking and walking and all I saw was plants, trees and vines. Have I went pass here before? I murmured as I looked at a long, yet thick tree covered with un-blossom bulbs. That only made me more confused and more frightened. I am walking in circles and circles.
“I am done. I would starve in this mysterious island and die here. I would never see anyone again because this was such a remote place… Connor, Aeklandr… anyone.
I couldn't help myself because I heard a faint sound — laughs and music. Was there someone on this island? I grinned, “Maybe I won’t die today.” But then I thought, Was it Connor doing a prank on me? Maybe he thought it was time to confess his truthfulness about pranking me for that long.
“Connor,” I laughed, “Come out now, I already heard your voice. Did you find other people on this crap island?”
Still there were no reply but the faint voices were still laughing and the sweet flute music were still playing. Starting to get tired, I sat down in the damp grass. Dew drops dropped on my hair giving me a chill in the spine. “CONNOR?” I screamed louder. There were still no response. I decided there was on way to find out… Follow the faint sounds. Cautiously taking tiny steps I trampled on grass just to follow the faint sounds. I kept an eye if Connor jumped out of the towering bush just to scare me.
I soon began hearing the laughing and cheering sounds more clear. As I continued following the mysterious voices, I finally found where the sounds were coming from. Stood before my eyes were a big campsite. There were tents set up and group of fifteen boys that was very dirty and they were dancing, laughing and cheering on each other. I stood behind a tall tree trying to hide myself from the unknown strangers. I hoped Connor would be there. I tried looking at all the fifteen boys trying to identify which one was Connor. But one boy who caught my eyes and left me mortifying was a boy who had chestnut brown hair. He looked about sixteen years old and his viridescent eyes looked like mischievous snakes serpentining. The young boy was standing in the middle of the group playing on his flute and the other boys, which looked about eight to sixteen were laughing, cheering and dancing to the music. So that's where the sweet music was coming from. The boy in the middle looked liked the leader, based on all the information I learnt. His face was full of darkness and gruesome. While all the other young boy in the outer circle danced and cheered on each other, the leader, never stood a chance. The leader looked so mean, I already hate him.
Decisively, I realized there were no Connor since I scanned the area twice, I decided to leave and keep finding Connor on this mysterious island. There were people there, so there must be lots more people on this island. I didn’t give up. I would do whatever it takes to find Connor. Just as I was going to leave, I tripped over a long log.
“Damn, this log.” I cursed under my breath hoping no one would hear.
Unfortunately, it was the opposite. All the young boys from the camp heard. Shit. They stared at me bewildered except for their leader. “I… am just going to go, sorry for the interruption.” I managed to say and hoping they might help me find Connor.
“Capture her, boys!” One of the boys shouted in a enthusiastic voice.
“I’m sorry… what?” But they were running to my direction, when I realize they were talking about me. The boys were going to capture me.
The only way for me was to run. So I ran, anywhere and everywhere. Dodging branches and jumping over logs, I ran as fast as I could. My heart was beating briskly and my breaths became short. I was terrified. “Please… Please, Connor… help” I panted as I ran faster and faster as the voices of the young boys came chasing after me. Is this even a game? I was running so fast I didn’t even notice another log in front of me. Before I had time to realize I was suppose to jump over it, I fell down. “Another log?” I mumbled.
As I go to my feet and brushed of the dirty leaves of my robe, all the young boys surrounded me with their spears and knives.
“Kill her,” One boy said.
“What would Pan say?” Another churned.
“Just tie her back and tell Pan to come.” Soon all the boys started to talk over and over what they should do with me. Finally having the realization, I ran away while the boys were fighting hoping that little distraction would help me gain time. As I soon as I ran, the shortest boy called out to the rest of the group, “She’s escape.”
“Damn. why do they want to capture me so bad?” I muttered. I didn’t stop until I realized I had fallen into something soft. Why do I keep falling? I titled me head forward and realized I had fallen on top of the leader. The person with dishonorable green eyes and chestnut brown hair. Now what?
“I see… we have a lovely guest today.” The leader, finally getting himself up and hollered at the boys in a gruesome way. He than give me one of the most infuriating smirks. I swear, this boy, is the most frustrating boy ever and I swear I’ll hate him too my life ends.

“Who are you?” I snarled in front of his face.
“What did you say?” The mysterious boy gritted his teeth. I knew he didn’t like the way I was speaking to him.
“Oh… didn’t you hear me? I said very sarcastically, “who are you?” I have never been so confident before, but I wanted him mad.
“You,” He growled, pointing his finger to me chest harshly, “I would wipe that smile of your face instantly. This is my Neverland, my island. Not your’s. Did you get that clear?”
“You still didn’t answer my question yet?”
“I see… you are a feisty one, I would let you go this time, but there won’t be next time.” He sneered with furrowed eyebrows. “Pan… Peter Pan is my name. Now, girl, you better tell me your name otherwise, I promise I would make your life a living hell. And,” He added, “You better not call me Peter, I don’t want some bastard calling me my first name. No one does” He pointed at me and all the boys that was chasing me before.
“Stop threatening me,” I spitted crossing my arms tightly. All my life, people have been forcing me what to do, but now, I am not in a orphanage so no one forces me. As I crossed my arms, the other boys putted their knives and spears at me. It was so close, I felt the tip of the sharpness dig through my skin, but I wasn't giving up that easy. I smirked, “Pan, I would never call you by your first name because it is horrendous and just so you know, it's Monica
“Boys, put down your spears.” Looking directly at me, he growled ignoring what I said about his name, “Tell me, how did you find my campsite?”
“Well… I was on a ship going somewhere, I don’t even know and I then fell of the ship and landed here. But unfortunately I was looking for my friend Connor but then I heard some laughing and some sweet music playing and I thought Connor might be there, I realize you were playing on your pipes and than I found a campsite and there you get it… you caught me for no stupid reason. But I am not doing any harm.” I blurted quickly.
“I see,” Pan twitching his eyebrows at me. “You see my pipes can be heard by limited people and I guess your one of ‘em.”
“What do you mean?” I clenched my fist tightly. I just hate Pan so much!
“You feel lost and unloved right?” Pan spat his last words out menacingly and not even noticing, it hurted me so much.
“No. Never. I have got Connor.” I said bravely but trembled a bit.
“Stop denying. I would punish people who are liars. I guess your next?.”
“Fine,” I screamed, trying not to let tears fall out of my eyes. “I do feel lost and unloved but doesn't mean I everyone hates me. Happy?” I just wish Pan could die this moment. I hated his face. I hated his words. I hated every part on him.
Pan suddenly soften his tone, “You are a lost girl now, and there would be no going back.”
I almost thought he wasn't so bad after all when he hissed his last words, immediately interrupted my thoughts, “But that doesn't mean you can speak over me and call me Pan. You have to listen to every word I say, girl otherwise… punishment.” He smirked his last sentence.
Gosh, I rather die than see his face again.

~~~~~
You are a lost girl now. Those words kept repeating in my head, over and over again. I knew it was a horrible thing, since I didn’t want to see his face again but my heart tells me to go on, it is going to be fine.
“No.” I replied bluntly.
“What?” Pan replied, with his fist clenched almost ready to punch me.
“I said, No. I would not be a lost girl,” I spat, “I would never be a lost girl of yours because I hate you.”
“Your quite a fiesty one,” Pan smirked, “I have never heard of someone say no to me. Not even the lost boys. I am the best. I am the strongest. I am the leader and I rule Neverland. You must obey me.”
I got confused. Everything was happening so fast. Ignoring his last comments I asked “Lost boys? What in the world are you talking about?”
“Them, they are boys, who feel unloved and lonely and they follow the sounds of my pipe to come here,” Pan replied without any expression pointing at the group of young boys who were chasing me before. “So… I see, Chloe, you're looking for someone named Connor?”
“Yes, and Connor is my friend. I mean no harm to disturb so kind of celebration, I am leaving now.”
“Don’t you dare,” Pan growed, “You are mine already.”
“Already? Never in a million years.” I snarled. I then did something unexpected. I kicked him in the groin and he fell over so fast, I did not expect that. I didn’t even realize how strong I was. “I guess, you're not as strong as you think. I then pushed over some of lost boys who were still shocked their leader fell over. I ran as far as I could, pushing over branches that get my way and jumping over long logs. I never actually knew I run that fast, but my mind was focused on Pan. I need to get away from him. Suddenly, a rough hand grabbed my wrist and tried to pulled me backwards. Didn’t care who it was, I tried to yanked the rough hand of me. But that hand was to strong. And with another tug, those hands pulled my back and I feel over, thumping hard on the rocky ground.
“Uhhh.” I mumbled under me breath. I could make out that I am going to have a scar there. Eventually getting myself up, I grunted looking for the enigmatic hand that had pulled me back when I felt the tip of something sharp on my throat. The coldness of it lashed everywhere on my body. Who knew the outside world would be so frightening. I thought, Back in the orphanage nothing ever happened.
I looked and saw the tip of the long sword pointed against my neck.
“Pan.” I gritted my teeth. “Let me go, you disgusting, repugnant —”
“Dear, no need to continue,” Pan said coolly with a smirk, “Peter Pan never fails. I rule this island and I know where everyone is.”
“Firstly, don’t ever think about calling me, ‘dear’ and I don’t care if you rule this stupid island.”
“Don’t talk to me like that,” Pan’s sword dug into my skin. It pierced into it softly but it felt hard enough. “You are to do what I say otherwise, punishment.”
“Yeh, yeh, we get it, know-it-all.” I muttered under my breath.
Out of nowhere one of the lost boys -I presume- grabbed my waist tightly and pushed me towards a large tree, causing me to hit my head on one of the low branches, and I swear, I could taste blood. I hate blood. Everything became dizzy and seconds later my surroundings were pitch black.
A recognizable voice shouted, “Charles, take her to the camp.”
Peter Pan’s POV
“Charles, take her to the camp.” I shouted.
As the lost boys walked back to the camp slowly I just teleported back. It was so much easier and faster. I loved my life. I get to rule and force people what to do, this is just so much fun. I love being a kid. Soon the lost boys got back to the camp and I saw Charles laid Chloe's unconscious body on the log and covering her with a blanket, Felix whispered in my ear nearly scaring me, “What are we going to do with her?”
“I am firstly going to punishment and make her learn a lesson to never challenge me. After that, I must gain her trust and once I have her trust I am going to get her heart.”
Felix looked confused. “But you told me earlier she is useless and powerless. Out of all the people in the whole world, why her?”
“You’ll see. She has something special. Her heart is pure. She ne'er gave up even though there would be never any hope she would receive powers. So once I get her heart, I would gain my powers and I can finally get my flying back. Then,” I smirked, “I’ll challenge Hook, we will then see who is the better one.”
“She is going to die.” Felix replied.
“I don’t care. I could kill everyone in the whole world and that includes you, Felix.” I laughed evilly.
I blinked several times very confused of my surroundings. I was laying on a log and a thin blanket covering half of my body. The dew drops from the big fern next to my dropped on my hair and it made me chuckle. I love the early morning fresh air, it made me happier for some reason.
“Hello, darling, you doing fine?.” A voice with british accent said. Then that made me angry.
Looking back, I spat. My heart beating rapidly. “Gosh, Pan. Stop scaring me like that. And, never call me darling. I hate it.”
“Remember,” His eyes glowed. It was dark. “I rule this island, not you. You will do as I say.”
“Whatever.” I mumbled and started to walk where the lost boys are and tried to avoid Pan.
“Where are you going?”
“Somewhere far away from you.” I mumbled harshly.
“Fine. But you’ll get lost. Neverland is big and mysterious. It doesn't suit little and scared girls.”
Tring to ignore his nasty comments, I walked over to the lost boys where they were training. Some were shooting with there bow and arrow and some where doing sword fighting. As I walked closer to where some boys were doing sword fighting I could see it was dangerous. All my life I have been trapped in a orphanage and they didn’t let me see the outside world, but now I know the outside world was very dangerous.
“Is that a real sword?” I asked some of the lost boys dumbly.
They all looked at me and it was dead silence then they all started laughing.
“Yes, it is.” one said who were just fighting with another opponent. He had sandy blond hair and his piercing blue eyes made him look very handsome.
Pan appeared behind me suddenly. Scaring me again. “Owen, hand me your sword. Monica, if you want to know, I can show you what is a real sword.” His said sarcastically.
“I hate you.” I mumbled, but got a sword of Owen’s opponent. I didn’t want to make a fool of myself in front of everyone. “Thank you…?”
“Noah.” The boy who gave me his sword said. He smiled, “Good luck and be careful.”
“Don’t worry,” I reassured him, “I will prove to him I am not a little girl.”
As I walked into the small ring made of peebles, Pan pulled his hand out. “Game on.” I shook his hand firmly. It was still early and I was very tired and hungry and I didn’t have much energy. I didn’t eat for two days but I knew I needed to do this fight. I wanted to prove to Pan he is wrong about me. Even though no one knows my past here, I am determined to show Pan what I am capable of and how strong I am.
Peter Pan’s POV
I got a sword of Owen. Monica doesn't know who she is facing. Such bravery and determination she has, but no one can stop me. Peter Pan never fails and I won’t fail myself in front of Monica. Monica has a deep past and I understand her but I brought her to Neverland for a reason -a reason she doesn't know. She has something I want. Her heart. Her heart is pure and determined and without her heart, it cannot retrive me from flying.
“Game on.” I smirked sticking my hand out. She shook it firmly with great anger but that didn’t scare me.
As she entered the ring, I could see her hands tremble but I show not remorse. “on guard.” I called out. The lost boys cheered and hollowered. This was going to be a fun game. Monica clenched her sword and takes the first swing at me. Easily I blocked it off and the lost boys cheered more. We continued sword fighting for a long time, so long I got lost of time ─for once.
I have to confess this was a waste a time but Monica is pretty good at sword fighting even though she came from an orphanage and knew nothing about swords. I was wrong about her. Maybe she is strong and not a little girl.
Deciding to bring things more fun, I put down my sword and she looked very confused, yet delighted she had won. But this was not over. Peter Pan never fails. After putting down my sword, I kicked her strongly in her shin making her stumble and fall onto a large rocks.
“Oops,” I laughed, “I guess… I won after all? Seen you soon, dear.” I walked away gradually, leaving Monica badly hurt and the lost boys having a very bewildered look on their faces.
~~~~~
I was in the middle of the circle with Pan and everyone lost boy was staring at us and cheering. My hands trembled with fear. This was the first time I had seen a real sword. Wow, it is sharp. I thought when touched the tip. Seeing Pan had not swung his sword at me I had no choice to swing the sword first. I clenched the sword tightly and tried to bash it into his face but he easily blocked it off. This person is such a show-off. We began fighting for a long time and I started to get tired, but of course, ─Pan was still up for more. I was about to ‘call it to an end’ when for no reason, he kicked me on the shins. Very hard that I lost balance and fell over. “Ouch,” I managed to say. I thought Pan would help me up, Instead, he laughed, “Oops, I guess… I won after all?” Gosh, I hate a lot of people and Pan is definitely one of them. Ignoring his nasty comments I felt my back. The thin white dress I was wearing was ripped and I felt blood. I hate blood so much. Everything became fuzzy and my vision was nothing but black. The last words I heard was “Why does she faint so much?”
When I woke up, I found myself on a bed. It was a fragile bed that looked out it was made of logs. Looking around, I could see I was in a tent. One of the Lost boy’s tents. It can’t be Pans because Pan’s tent must be luxurious. I looked out and it was directly opposite where the lost boys were training. Wow, nice view.
“I see, you finally woke up?” A voice interrupting my thoughts laughed. I looked up and saw Owen. His distinctive blue eyes got me hard to look at.
“Can you stop looking at me? I managed to say.
“Why, am I to amusing, bad, ugly…” Owen laughed, pushing his honey blond hair behind.
“No. You are too striking to look at.” I blurted and instantly regretted it.
“Oh, such a shame, you do look very beauteous with your platinum blond hair but…” He sat next to me on the small bed. Our shoulders brushed and I blushed to forget everything; Pan, Lost boys, Connor... “Pan would punish us badly. You see, we have rules here in the camp and if you break a rule, you would have a big punishment.
“This is stupid,” I muttered, “Pan can’t take control of us.”
Owen tried to change the topic. I knew he didn’t want Pan to know we were talking about him behind his back, “Also, do you remember your… punishment?”
“What punishment?”
Owen looked very embarrassed, “I… didn’t mean to tell you that. I didn’t realize you didn’t know. I’m 一.”
I was starting to get frustrated. Why was Owen talking like this? This isn’t normal, he was acting very weird. “Owen, why are you acting like this? I don’t like it.”
“I’m sorry if I am acting weird. You see, all my life that I have remembered I had lived with the lost boys and when you came, you said you liked me.... I knew we haven’t talked to each other so much but…” He sighs, “let's just get to the point I really like you,” Owen blurted the last sentence quickly.
Without warning, I reached his lips to mine. Our nose brushed against each other and I gave him the lightest peck on the lips. Owen’s lips were soft and hungry. I never imagined Owen was such a good kisser even though I had never kissed anyone before. I stroked his face, our nose pressed together tightly. I could hear his heartbeat and his heavy breathing.
“Monica,” He whispered, “I would always protect you, no matter what, but -” He took my hands of his face and we broke apart. I was heartbroken. Tears fell from my eyes, “But what…” I whispered.
“I can’t love you… never.”
“Why?” I started to weep, this was very embarrassing, crying in front of a person I just kissed 一let alone meet.
“Pan would know. I don’t want him to hurt you anymore.” Owen than gave me a light smirk. “Besides, isn’t Connor your boyfriend?”
“No,” I laughed, disregarding who Owen had said about Pan. “I just knew him for a few hours..” I wanted to tell Owen my past but I was scared he might laugh at me.
“You can tell me what's wrong,” Owen whispered as if he knew what I was thinking.
I kissed him lightly on the cheek, “When it's time, I will tell you, now we need to get out of this tent. You need to train and as for me, I have got ‘a punishment from Pan’ right?”
“Enjoying much?” I voice behind us hissed. I couldn't see who it was but by the sound of it, It was easy to recognise. Everyone in the camp so far seems nice but 一Pan.
“Pan. How long have you been here?” I spat in his face. I could see the anger in his eyes.
“Long enough for you to know.” He smirked in my face.
Pan than glared at Owen. “Owen, I believe it's already noon and you haven’t trained targeting yet. Go on, hurry.”
Owen left suddenly.
I sneered at Pan’s face, “Why are you so mean to everyone, you bastard,一?”
“Oh Monica, I am already so nice I didn’t punish you and Owen for breaking a rule but… then you still have one punishment for challenging me.”
“What stupid rule is that?” I growled ignoring my other punishments.
“Number 1. No relationships are ever allowed in Neverland.” He spat clenching his right hand tightly.
I wanted to cry. But I must not show my weakness in front of Pan. When I was in the orphanage, my life was already a misery then I end up here, on this strange land which here my life is probably going to end. I have to follow every rule Pan says. I couldn't take it anymore.
“I don’t want to see you ever again,” I screamed so loud every lost boys was looking at us. I pushed past Pan and ran deep into the forest hoping no one would follow.

The further I ran, the darker the sky got. I didn’t know where I was going and I didn’t want to know. I hoped that someone would rescue me from this island and take me back to Connor. I hated this place so much. I looked out and I saw I was close to a cove then something rustled behind me. “Pan,” I mumbled, “What part of, ‘I don’t want to see you again’ don't you understand?"
But then a rough hand grabbed my by my mouth. I couldn't scream for help. I didn't know who was the mysterious person. I tried wiggling out but the person grasp was strong.
I am dying. I thought, can I see Connor, Owen, Pan again?
It went all pitch black. This was the ending and I am never going to see anyone again.
