Everything was going according to plan until that Saturday morning.
Birds chirped and the sun gleamed and glistened over the water. Laura had been in love with the same guy since her middle school years. His name was Joe-a funny, outgoing, loving, handsome, man. It was her senior year in high school when she found out that she would be the mother of his child. And until this Saturday morning, he had said that he loved her and that he would never leave her side.
The ultrasound appointment came, which he agreed to join her in, that morning at 8 a.m. It would be her seven month check in. She thought he was the one.
5 minutes in, he ran out of the room while screaming, "I CAN'T DO THIS! IT'S OVER!"
In tears, Laura left the room when the doctor was finished and caught the first bus to reach the bus stop. She realized that she would be alone and would be raising this child all on her own.
But, when she entered the bus and noticed that her baby was kicking. She felt complete love for this child. The sun came through the window and she knew an angel was watching her.
