She opened the envelope and screamed. Sweepstakes? Her? She never dreamed it could happen, but there it was, after countless magazine subscriptions to periodicals she never intended to read: Guns and Ammo, Creative Quilting, Fantasy Football Insider. Piles of these damned things lined the hallways and rooms of her small, two-bedroom house.

She didn't intend to read the magazines, but at the same time, she couldn't part with them, just in case, just in case one day she could sell them or donate them or look something up in one of them that might, just might be of some importance to somebody somewhere. Of course, this was also the reason she couldn't part with clothing, garbage, knickknacks, and other things that most people would consider a waste of space.

Still, as she stood there trembling, yellow envelope in hand, she knew she had finally found a reason for the magazines. She turned around to shut the door, but as she did, she heard some vehicles pull up to her house. They stopped, and a camera crew and that guy who used to be the sidekick to that talkshow host--the funny one who did that bit about the mind reader--hopped out.

Her elation quickly turned to shame and dread as she realized that she was about to be filmed for a television commercial, but her house, oh god her house, with the piles of stuff collapsing in on itself, she would be discovere
